Dr. Jerome D. Buxbaum, General Dentist
Dr. Buxbaum graduated with a BSC degree in Microbiology in 1951. In 1955, he received a D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland. He has been practicing dentistry for 51 years. Dr. Buxbaum is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Maryland. He is also a Diplomate with the American Academy of Pain Management, and a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Buxbaum's practice philosophy is to "provide a superior level of care for our patients."
Dr. Cheryl R. Degenhardt, General Dentist
Dr. Degenhardt graduated with a BA Degree from Wittenberg University in 1986. In 1990, she received a D.D.S. degree from Ohio State University. Dr. Degenhardt has been practicing dentistry for 16 years. A few of her hobbies include photography, jewelry making, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Dr. Degenhardt's practice philosophy is to "provide the best possible treatment in a friendly, low-stress atmosphere."
Dr. Samie Thabet, Orthodontist
Dr. Thabet graduated with a BA Degree in 1990 from St. Louis University. In 1994, he received a D.M.D. degree from Tufts Dental School in Boston. He then earned an M.S.D. (ortho) from the University of the Pacific in 1996. Dr. Thabet has been a practicing orthodontist for 10 years. He is a member of the AAO, ADA, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and the Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Thabet's practice philosophy is to "provide a warm, caring environment and create beautiful smiles." Dr. Thabet grew up in England prior to moving to the United States.
Dr. Stephen R. Warren, Endodontist
Dr. Warren graduated with a BS Degree in 1971 from Brescia University. In 1975, he received a D.M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky. He earned his Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1982. He received an M.S. degree in Legal and Ethical Studies from the University of Baltimore in 1993.
Dr. Warren has been a practicing endodontist for 31 years.
John R Jayman DDS, General Dentist
Dr Jayman graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology in 1986. From there he did 3 years of research at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the field of pediatric immunology before embarking on his dental career. He received his DDS degree from the University of Maryland in 1993. Thereafter he completed a one year oral surgery internship at the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr Jayman has been a practicing general dentist for 15 years now and enjoys all phases of general dentistry. Dr Jayman strives " to provide one stop dentistry in the most relaxing environment possible". In his spare time Dr Jayman loves to golf, play softball, and enjoys watching his 2 sons compete in sports. Dr Jayman also volunteers his time once a month at the Mission of Mercy providing dental care to those that cannot afford it.
