Dr. Douglas W. Alderman, General Dentist
Dr. Alderman graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1970 with a BA degree in Chemistry.
He received his D.D.S. from The Ohio State University in March 1974 and was commissioned in the U.S. Public Health Service, assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard. After 23 years of active military service as a dentist, Dr. Alderman went into private practice in 1997. He joined the staff at Ashburn in 2003.
Dr. Alderman is experienced in all phases of preventive and restorative dentistry, including crowns and bridges for natural teeth and implants, and composite (white) fillings and veneers are a routine part of his practice. Please feel free to ask Dr. Alderman about any of the latest technology in dental care, whether it be the desire for whiter teeth, fresher breath or smile enhancement.
Dr. Lee, Orthodontist
Dr. Lee is a resident of Northern Virginia and has been practicing orthodontics in the DC metropolitan area over the past eight years. Dr. Lee's private practice experiences have been with group practices in Maryland, Connecticut and in New York City.
Although he limits his treatment to orthodontics for children and adults, his experiences in general dentistry serves as a strong foundation for his knowledge in orthodontics.
Dr. Lee's practice ranges from early treatment, modification of growth to achieve maximum results, orthodontics combined with orthognathic surgery, treatment of birth defects and craniofacial deformities. His techniques include traditional braces, aesthetic (clear) braces, Invisalign (a revolutionary new way to straighten teeth without braces), and functional appliances to modify growth.
Dr. Lee's philosophy is that the earlier a problem is detected, the easier it is to correct. As a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, he concurs with the AAO in recommendations that all children should receive an orthodontic screening by the age of seven by a specialist in orthodontics. This screening provides him with the opportunity to inform the parent/guardian of the child, if and when treatment should commence to receive the optimum results.
Dr Lee is current with the most modern techniques available in orthodontics and regularly attends lectures and conferences to stay abreast of current technology. In addition, he is a member of several different study clubs.

Dr. Rodriguez-Singh (Dr. Cris) has over 17 years of experience as both a general and pediatric dentist. She lives in the Ashburn area and has been practicing dentistry in Northern Virginia for the past 5 years. Dr. Rodriguez-Singh is a board eligible Pediatric Dentist who specializes in care for children from infancy through adolescence and as part of her residency program at Children's National Medical Center and George Washington University, she was trained at treating severe medically compromised patients and children with various developmental malformations. In addition, she has completed extensive training at the University of Washington where she received a specialized certificate and became proficient at treating persons with disabilities.
Dr. Rodriguez-Singh was trained and has many years of experience in treating young children who need a relief from the stresses of dental procedures by utilizing behavior management techniques, conscious sedation and she provides care with an
anesthesiologist utilizing general anesthesia for those who require long and complex treatment. Dr. Rodriguez-Singh believes in comprehensive care for her patients by recognizing and intercepting problems at an early age.
Dr Rodriguez-Singh takes great pride in providing children with a safe and healthy environment. To continue to provide her patients with the latest in pediatric technology she remains active in various local organizations and attends seminars to provide her patients with the latest in pediatric technology.
Dr. Cris and her husband have been married for 9 years and have 2 beautiful children. Her hobbies include singing and dancing.
